I am looking at a foreclosure the loan on it is 52,000 but I dont feel that it is worth it in the condition
it is in. There is holes in the walls, the roof is leaking, the carpet is stained and has a BIG hole burnt in it. The windows and doors dont shut completely due to the foundation being done poorly. On top of these major problems the yard needs a lot of work.. the main back yard is almost all slate rock and there is a big ditch that would need to have a drain pipe put down and then be covered by dirt just to be able to keep the weeds from growing 5 ft tall.. what do you think would be an good offer, and how low do you think the bank will go.? The loan is only about 3 yrs old, the owners initially borrowed 52,000 and have paid over 16,000 on it (interest) very little on the principal..
Hi, If the home is really in that bad of shape I don't understand why you're even thinking about buying it. I would bet there are many other homes for sale in your area that are in better shape. With so many homes to choose from why bottom fish. I hope I've been of some help and Good Luck.
