How does LA handle the area foreclosures? Is RealtyTrac the only resource available?

Realty Trac is good, but don't ever pay for a subscription to any service regarding foreclosure. Work with a full time Professional Realtor and you can be kept up to date on all foreclosures in any area - and it does not cost you a thing.

Any questions I will be happy to help

Realty Trac is the best source for foreclosure information. They track properties before they become foreclosure that appear on the path to foreclosure. Rather than pay the monthly fees for Realty Trac, I recommend you contact a realtor who utilizes the service. The realtor can help you through the convoluted process of purchasing a foreclosure. The process can be very frustrating to the inexperienced.

Your best bet is to watch the foreclosures on the sheriff's website. St Tammany sales occur every Wednesday. If you need help navigating the site contact me at kracine@kw.com
