This question is about this property: http://www.trulia.com/foreclosure/2002872852--Seaward-Ct-Gre
For people like myself, looking for homes out of state, I find this very misleading, and a waste of my time. Also I am very leary about who I would do business with. Lucky for me haa, I have been researching property in North and South Carolina, I am retired and live on a fixed income. I have a medical disability so I know what I need in a home. I have found to many sites on the web that just want a sale but lacking the personality and patients. It is hard for me to travel every time I have an interest in a home, I would prefer to communicate thru e-mail or phone. As for pictures on the web, well that needs a little help, I get so frustated when I see a home I may follow thru with more details, speaking with a rep. But it is the lack of pictures that I move on to the next listing. ( Pictures speak a thousand words!).
Homes for $2500? Wow, sign me up for a few!
Seriously though, real estate doesn't fall outside the scope of "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". It's sad to think that companies can feel that they can get away with such misleading information just because they're posting on the internet. No, it's more than sad. It's shameful.
Von,
That advertisement is grossly negligent. This is par for the course for Realty Trac, unfortunately. They lure people with ridiculous offers like that so that you will pay to join their site. Do not do it. If you want to buy a foreclosure, I can help you, but $2,500 homes do not exist.
For your information, there are currently no homes for sale on Seaward Court in Chartwell Estates and the cheapest a home has ever sold for on that street is $130,000.
Good luck.

Von,
This information is so misleading. There is no way this property is going to sell for $2,500. Realty Trac should not be allowed to get away with this nonsense.
