How do you find out the minimum bid in a foreclosure auction?

I got the information from the county website. But I guess you are right and it should be on the notice of sale...

First off the minimum bid should be listed. If it isn't then a phone call is your best bet. However, if you don't have a phone number to call, then I wonder how you found out about the auction? Even if you found a good lead on an auction or home online, there should still be a phone number. I wouldnt show up to an auction without talking to someone first. Thats just me.

Where did you find the information?
Usualy the minimum bid would be listed on the notice of sale. You may also call the attorney's office to find out what the minimum bid is. Keep in mind the te minimum bid includes the mortgage balance plus interest plus legal fees plus auction fees.
