How do I find out who owns an abandoned house in our neighborhood? At one time, you had the listing

9360 E. 82nd Street, Indianapolis. Went up for auction last summer. Since then, no activity and the yard hasn't been mowed. My neighjbor thought she found a listing that Trulia had some time ago, but that might be a mistake.

You can go to your local auditor page online and look up real property tax info. It will list the owner of the property, which is probably a bank. You can try to contact the bank, though that isn't often very successful. But soon some real estate office will list it, so keep your eye on it.
