SEVERAL WAYS: If the property has been updated in county tax rolls, posted in MLS as a foreclosure, listed for auction

Debi,

I have found the most success with RealtyTRAC . I subscribe to their website and get alerts during various stages of the foreclosure process. I noticed today that Trulia is starting to post "pre-foreclosures" as well. But as Susan pointed out, the courthouse would have the most accurate records.

Good luck!

FIRST ANSWER

If you know the address, you can check at the county courthouse.
