Hi, Mandi
Leon County Clerk of Court has a Foreclosure Link on their Website:
http://www.clerk.leon.fl.us/index.php?section=2&server=c
You will notice on that website, there are Foreclosure Auctions just about every weekday at the Courthouse. These are Public Auctions - walk through the security checkpoint, go straight back through the Rotunda, and they will be held on the right side of the Clerk's Office (unless there is a large gathering; then they will move out into the Rotunda area).
The Leon County Foreclosure Auctions are usually sparsely attended. The first bidder is almost always from the Bank's representative or Attorney: "I bid $100 on behalf of the Plaintiff". If the Bank intends to bid up to the default amount, then [usually] nobody else bids.
The Clerk can instruct you on how to participate, the terms of payment to the Court, and the Documentary Taxes, Judicial Fees, etc. that will be added to the Winning Bid Price.
Once a property has been sold at the foreclosure auction, you can ask the winning bidder if the property will be placed for sale, and who to contact regarding same. (If it is a Lender, especially a large one like Deutsche Bank or Citi or BOA, then of course the property will get rolled into their REO Department, and it may be quite some time before it is put up for sale). The word on the street is that Lenders are now holding back many foreclosures, to keep from flooding the market with excess supply. Just because it sells at auction, does not mean that it will be For Sale any time soon.
*** As Annett pointed out, unless you are savvy and experienced, you will want a Broker or Attorney to assist you in presenting offers on foreclosed properties ***.

Mandi, you might also be interested in the Tax Auctions which are usually held upstairs in the Leon County Courthouse. The receptionist can direct you, and there will be personnel there who can register you to participate.
Best wishes,
