Hi, I recently found a foreclosure that I really liked and happened to find it during an open house.

I spoke to the REO who refered me to a bank rep. I then submitted an offer that was later accepted and now Im in the Pre approval process with the bank rep. My question is what will be the next step in attempting to close after the pre-approval? and are there any short cuts in closing the sale? Thank you....

FIRST ANSWER

So the listing agent referred you to a lender to get approved, correct? Once you get pre-approval, you'll need to submit an offer and get it accepted. Once accepted, you'll have 30 days to do inspections and close escrow. Your buyers agent should walk you through this....please use your own Realtor!
