still single. I got married 2 years ago, my wife has excellent credit, a solid job, and no debt. Is it possible for us to get a new home loan under her name? Please help with any information.

Yes you can buy with just your wife on the loan. You cannot go on title if you are not on the loan. But you can add yourself back on title immediately after you close on the property.

Hi Jag,

Most banks require that all those names on title be on the loan as well. You really need to talk to a lender. I know a lender who is very qualified to answer your question.
