You will get these contracts from 3 sources:
1. Realtors
2. Banks
3. REO Asset Management Companies
I left you a link that has a list of reo bank contacts to help you get started
You may want to contact realtors that "specialize" in foreclosed homes... also, contact the REO asset managers of banks and larger companies that handle properties all over the U.S. who may have listings in the Michigan area.
Tons of FREE info out there online, too, before you shell out money for a program. Good luck to you!

Hi Lacresha,
I recommend you going to NREOB website and apply as one of their vendors. You can do it on line. They will want your business license # and insurance information. Then you can submit it online. They will then put you on their list as a vendor for their realtors who have the listings for their company. Good luck!
Hi Lacresha Orange:
Nothing beats face-to-face marketing in this business. I would do some research to find out which agents handle foreclosed properties and try to talk to them directly. I also would have a stack of brochures to leave at each office. Most offices have a counter or table where service providers can leave information. Go back regularly to refresh your pile and talk to as many people as you can each time. Also, I would look at other services you can offer. Would you help home buyers and sellers move furniture. Could you do regular home cleanings for busy sellers? Do you do handyman jobs? The more flexible you are, the more likely it is that you will get enough work to start a business.
I hope this helps,
Ron
In addition to the suggestions below, contact Building Service Contractors Association International at http://www.bscai.org for information on getting into niche cleaning markets--everything from marketing to pricing. (Disclaimer: I used to work for BSCAI and wrote and edited many of the earlier books on starting a cleaning business, how to get into niche markets, etc.)
And here are a couple of other resources:

If you're in Wayne, Oakland, or Macomb county I know a few companies. I'm using one to do a trash out on Greenview in Detroit.
Must banks assign a 3rd party vendor who handle all these issues, you need to complete research locate all these companies who offer that services. GREAT business to be in.

Contact some of the Realtors here locally that deal strictly with foreclosures, like Ron Walraven or someone like that. They'll likely be able to steer you in the right direction. It's a disgusting job!
