David,
Additional personal criteria and information would be very helpful.....
Is the Pacific northwest your chosen destination?
Hi David,
I do not know if you still are on this thread. I happened upon it while searching my neck of the woods for potential business. I totally understand your circumstance! I began my search for property in this part of the world (Spokane County, WA) about 17 years ago (it pains me to realize it was so long ago) from Bangkok, Thailand. I ended up in the Northwestern corner of Spokane County. When I was looking, I had a large map and the Sunday newspaper. I would get very excited about a description and think how wonderful it was. Then, I came here and began driving around. Wow! That little space on the map really is a long way from anywhere. That is my point. You entered your question in Pend Orielle County. The closest point in this county to Spokane is about 20-25 minutes north of Spokane. What will you be doing for a living? What are your goals? These are questions I would help you ask and help you answer. Please send me a direct email at DavidWatherton@gmail.com. My web site is below. Good luck in your search.
Hi David, Welcome to this neck of the woods, if you are looking for a Realtor and property in my area I could send you some listings, foreclosures too, I'm a first time home buyer educator too and would be more than glad to help you out. Check my site out .,e mail me. Regards, Dianne
Oh and on another note, I would have to agree with Don's reply below, as I feel there are great values to be had that are not on a foreclosure list and sometimes more negotiating power. It simply is just a great time to be buying!
If you are looking for foreclosures here in the Pacific Northwest and more specifically, King County
....you can go to the county website and search for tax foreclosure. Here is the link to King County's website. http://www.kingcounty.gov/operations/finance/treasury/foreclosure/
I do know both King and Snohomish have that info online. Best of luck!
If you are looking on anational level, you can try this website....
http://www.hud.gov/homes/homesforsale.cfm
To purchase a home you can try a go at it on your own, but would have more knowledge, information and experience on your side by utilizing a licensed real estate agent. Keep in mind there is no cost to work with a buyer's agent since their fees are paid by the seller.
Best of luck to you!
David
The best values in the Pacific Northwest are not on any foreclosure list. The sellers with the largest equities who are willing to deal the most are the new home builders. When you settle on an area have your agent show you new homes. The values are great and the homes aren't trashed.
Didn’t find what you were looking for? Ask a question!
