Kathie,

I'm a straight-shooter -no, 620- 640 is the minimum score to obtain a mortgage; however, if you have someone willing to co-sign it becomes a different story. Also, income is another factor... As far as how long - it depends situationally. If you would like to talk, give me a call; worst case, I can help you get into a nice rental :-)

Warmest Regards,

The only answer to your question should be from a Mortgage Representative that you are planning to work with. The best advice is to find someone who you trust and feel comfortable with. The sooner you start to work with someone the quicker you can buy again. Call me if I can help in any way
