Can I use my own agent to place an offer on a foreclosure or is it best to use the listing agent?

You can use your own agent. You want someone working in your best interest and advising you through the buying process. When you use the listing agent, they are not suppose to advise you on things such as what to offer, what to counter offer, etc. You will get more personalize service with your own agent.

I highly recommend using your own buyers agent. The seller pays their commission and they will have your best interest at hear.
