I just called them at 1-866-892-3752. They are craigs list for real estate for rent, and when Rebecca answered she said "Do you want to buy this property?" I thought that was a strange way to start a call. I'm thinking to myself, "Maybe, but I want some answers on the property first." I said "This ad is listed under rentals, not for sale". There was silence. I hung up and called back later, after being 39th in a list of callers, I got "Rebecca" again. Told her I was interested in a property in Harrisburg, PA. She said just a minute. I waited and I was disconnected. They don't seem professional at all.

The only way to get a refund from this company is to contact your bank and perform a chargeback (this is what I did) - then I suggest the BBB and the State's attorney. This company is trying to scam people !!

I did the same thing. Was caller number 31 and waited about 10 minutes and when I got the guy on the phone who was obviously same guy that made the recording. He said "You don't understand, we have 70 properties over there." So I started to clarify something else and he said again, "You don't understand, we have 70 properties over there." I got a little testy and said. "I understand that." and he hung up on me.

Read below for good information on the company you were asking about. If in doubt, google it and add "complaints" to what you are looking for. Nowadays, information is available everywhere. You don't have to pay anything or subscribe to a service to receive a list of foreclosures. Just seek out a knowledgeable realtor that you are comfortable with and they can help you with a foreclosure. Get preapproved so you're knowledgable of your purchasing power and get started. Good luck!

I've just got off the phone with orange future. I called, startedasking questions and the guy just hung up on me. I called back and was able to get some of my questions answered but the guy was argumentative and seemed offended that I wanted to check them out with the BBB. He also refused to tell me the name of the company. Their number is: 1-800-213-4686

I have given 200 to this company and I regret my decission of not looking them up first. My credit isn't very good and it was a chance for me to put my family in a home. But come to find out I am further behind by giving these unhonest individuals 200 dollars that could have filled my fridge. I can't believe there are people like this out there. I know better, but sometimes as humans we are desperate and take risks regardless!! I hope I can be of help to anyone who is considering these dishonest as*ho**s..

sorry, I just posted they are not in the BBB, they actually are they are listed with a rating of F(F We strongly question the company’s reliability for reasons such as that they have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is grossly misleading, they are not in compliance with the law’s licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company’s industry is known for its fraudulent business practices. they have several complaints against them. They are not registerd with the BBB. So now you know stay away...

well, i ran into this company today via craiglist. I called them to get more information and the representative basically told me you pay 199 to get access to a website that has properties that you can assume the mortgage payments. No background check, no credit because no loan is actually being given to you. I checked the BBB and they are not listed. Yeah not sure how good they are but it does sound shady.

We, sadly, did pay the $199.00 fee and canceled (as we were told we could for a full refund) within a few hours after seeing what the membership entitled us to (basically a list of foreclosed homes in very depressed neighborhoods). We have been given a different story every time we call requesting our refund. First we were told it would be credited back to the card we used within 7 days. Then, when no refund was given, we were told it would take 30 days for "processing". Thirty days has come and gone. We were told the refund would be issued by check and arrive in 3 to 5 days. Guess what? Three to five days and no refund. We called again and when we asked the last name of the company "representative" we were told it was against company policy to give that information. Now, we are being told we will be issued a refund after sending in a cancellation form (not previously requested)within 48 hours. I will post again when the next 48 hours pass and let everyone know if I have received my refund. I'm not holding my breathe, though. But I will pursue this until I am satisfied, one way or another. It is a horrible thing to do this to people.

I have dealt with orangefuture.com and looks to me like a home-made operation run by about 5 or 6 people. Not only are they completely unprofessional, but I believe that their marketing practices are very shady. Generally, you don't want to trust a company that makes ridiculous promises like "We will move you into a home with no money down and no credit check". Rule of thumb; if it sounds too good to be true, more than likely it is. However, a company that I have dealt with that was very helpful in finding my new home that I currently live in is HR National (www.hrnational.com). They deal directly in pre-foreclosures and have qualified finance consultants that help ANY person move into a home in any type of credit situaton. If you looking into foreclosures, HR National is without a doubt your best bet. Good luck.

I also read up on them a little and found lots of people asking about what they are. Sounds fishy to me. They require a payment of $200 via your credit card to "get you started." I say RUNNNNNN!!!!
If you're looking for foreclosures try your local real estate agent or try the site i have referenced. You still have to pay to get the latest and greatest status of a foreclosed property, but it gives you a lot of information already. Someone a little savvy with all the internet tools could probably get around the stuff they withhold. One of the other sites that I pulled up when I googled them did claim that this Orange Future was hard money ...which in that case ..unless you really know what you're doing ... RUNNNNNNNN!!! Sorry - I haven't heard of that one - I did Google it and I read up on them a bit - seems like a pay to use service and maybe connected with hard money lending. It sounds a bit risky overall without learning more, but I could be wrong. Sorry.
Foreclosures are readily available in the MLS - I actually send out a list regularly to many people. You should never pay a fee for these. Thu Feb 28 2008, 21:55 Web Reference: http://www.raincityhouses.com
