BANK OF AMERICA OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT'S ADDRESS

We have a loan through Countrywide/Bank of America. I had the contact information for the Office of the President for Countrywide, but I'm not sure where to send my current request for a loan modification to Bank of America. Does anyone have this information?

e-mail to 3rdpartyadvo@bankofamerica.com You will need to call every 10 days and check for update. Make a log of everyone you talk to.

Sandran,

I have heard that Countrywide/Bank of America may be the most difficult company to work with for a loan modification and/or short sale. I would recommend that you spend approximately one hour each day trying to get some cooperation. You need to be kind of like a detective trying to solve a very important case. Look for telephone numbers on the internet, ask for other departments and people to talk to about your problem, take lots of notes and get names. By all means never give up and do not loose your temper!

Sandran,

You have to call your bank directly (the 800 number will be in your mortgage statement) and ask their customer rep for loss mitigation department number and fax number to send the loan modification request.

And also ask them which number to call for follow up after sending the loan modification request ..Good luck!
