While the real estate bubble has created many fantastic opportunities in the area, unfortunately a $50,000 home with a dock and intracoastal access isn't a reality in today's market. In fact, we have seen prices stabilize and in some cases we have seen price movement to the upside. In Hobe Sound, there are currently a total of about 450 properties currently for sale ranging from a 720 square foot mobile home in Ridgeway listed at $41,111 to an incredible 16,000 square foot oceanfront estate on Jupiter Island listed for $60,000,000. In between, there are some tremendous opportunities. The least expensive single family home currently listed is a short sale property in Heritage Ridge listed for $79,000 and the least expensive townhome is not a short sale located in the Villas of Hobe Sound and listed at $74,000.
Again, there are truly some tremendous opportunities out there, and with interest rates again falling below 5% it is a tremendous time to be shopping for the perfect home.
