What I am getting at is, what does its appearance on Yahoo mean - it will be coming up on the MLS soon, it was just picked up from the foreclosure last year, or no meaning at all? Thanks.

MLS does not feed into Yahoo or Realtytrac, it depends if the listing agent has the offical contract on the property you tech. can't list in MLS till you have a signed contract from the seller. http://www.lynn911.com

First things first - foreclosures are a pain in the neck to deal with. If you've got a ton of patience, you can get through the whole process. It isn't too uncommon for this hide and seek game from lenders.

With that said, I'd call the VA back and ask for their loss mitigation department. Often times, they'll have access to the information you'll need. You may have to talk to a few different people until you get someone that might be able to refer you to the right person.

Yahoo.com is what I call an information 'bucket'. There are many sources that fill that bucket. It's pretty tough to say specifically where the listing came from unless it says so in the information.
