We would like to rent a small house in Florissant/Hazelwood.
My husband and I have been renting in Pelican Cove for 3 years. My husband is retired and I was downsized but am working with a steady income. Our credit rating is not the best since our business failed in 2004. It has been getting better and we have a great payment record where we are. We are looking to get into a nice little home and would like to find one in a nice quiet neighborhood in the Florissant/Hazelwood area. Any ideas?

Picking the right rental house can be a pretty tedious process, especially so when it comes to dealing with landlords. If you have to throw a property manager into the mix, it gets even worse. If you are interested in rent-to-own scenarios, it is a good way to establish yourself in a home you're looking to purchase - before ever signing the loan the documents. You can get afeel for the house, as well as figure out your financial status better - so you can get a good deal on the mortgage.
