There are a number of neighborhoods near the UTSA campus that are on the shuttle route. Rents are ranging from $900 - $1200 and up for homes.

If you and your roommates do not have any rental history, the Landlords will want your parents to sign the lease along with you. They will also require your parents to sign a guarantee that they will be responsible for the rental payments.

I am very familiar with the UTSA area and have recently rented and sold a number of homes to UTSA students and their parents. There is still a good selection of rentals in the area and you should be able to find a home that works for you and your friends by August 15th.
