This is becoming a very popular trend in Venice. Many people prefer the modular units which have tennis courts, boat ramps, pools and other ammenities. Some examples would be Bird Bay and La Casa If you want to stay away from the modular units.....Circlewood or Hourglass Estates are some very nice communities located in the Venice area.
