Have you checked with any of the real estate brokers in the Phenix City area? Most have properties that are for rent - including houses. There are services online that can provide info on rental houses - but all of those I checked are primarily offering apartments. You can try researching RentalHouses.com. Enter Phenix City AL in the search box. The next pages will be mostly apartments, so you'll need to use the Refine Search section on the left side of the page, to narrow down your choices.
