I checked the MLS for homes for rent/lease in the Brownsville area. I found 2 that will accept pets, but without a pool. There are some 4 bedrooms with a pool, but we would have to ask about the cats.

If you need something for 8/1/09, then you still have time to look (about 2-3 weeks). Most homes only last about 3 weeks on the market for rentals.
