Hi,
I recently got a job in Third Avenue,Foster City, CA 94404 and planing to move to an area closer to that and at the same time it should be close to any public transport system, big shopping areas as well as should be close to any big grocery store as I do not have a car. My budget is 1200$ to max $1500 including any utilities and looking for Month-To-Month lease. I'm currently looking for 1BR/1 Bath apartment with the following amenities:
Cable ready
Carpeting
High speed internet available
Kitchen- Dishwasher,Refrigerator
Outdoor
Balcony/Deck/Patio
Children play area
Property Features
Extra Storage
Controlled Access
Laundry room
Parking Area- Any type
All the above amenities are basic minimum requirements for my apartment search.
Desired Leisure
Clubhouse
Fitness center
Pool
Spa/Hot tub
Please let me know if the renter has to pay any money if he/she finds any suitable apartment through a real estate agent in CA or will the percentage be paid by the owner?

Have you looked on craigslist.org yet? Although if you are seeking month to month I think usually the apartment complexes managed by a professional company are more likely to do that.
