Find a lender and they should be able to help you on the road to repair so you are in a position in the near future to purchase a home. If you need a recommendation, I can provide. All the best!

I am sorry to hear that. Many landlords will not even consider him because he broke his lease. Has he considered settling the lease with his past landlord?

Good luck!

Hello

you need to get together with you lender and make a plan of what you need to do , with that plan put it into action and down the road you will be able to get a home, but you have to follow closely the plan.

have a great day

You did not state an actual question. If you are asking what you should do, there are a few options.

Pay off the apartment that he owes money. You might be able to negotiate a settlement for less than owed if you offer a lump sum payment. Be sure to keep records of payment and get something in write from them stating it is settled.

Second option is set up a payment plan with the apartment. After several months of making regular payments, a new landlord may work with you if they see you working towards paying off this amount.

Find a landlord who does not care about past judgments or who does not do background checks. You will have very limited options and dealing with this type of landlord may not be ideal. You might be also paying a much higher rate than for similar homes. Be careful as there are a lot of scams going around. If something seems too good to be true, it probably is.

Are you asking if there is a way to clear this up to help you and your fiancé in obtaining a home?

Thanks!
