Besides checking with property managers, you have several other options. First, you should check with the Dade county housing authority to see if they know of any available homes. Second, you also should inquire with them about the vouchers; this way you'd even be able to rent a home that's not already in their inventory. Third, you could work with a tenant Realtor who specializes in placing Section 8 tenants. Fourth, you could contact some of the "We buy houses" companies in your area, and tell them that you're a potential Section 8 tenant who's looking for a rental. Either they'll have something available, or they'll know of at least 1 or 2 investors who do.

for miami tenants to check.

Love the last suggestion. Go on craigslist and you will find a ton of them. And Im sure they either will have some inventory they need filled or have a friend they could put you in contact with.

I would suggest contacting a local property management company as they will often times have a list of inventory from their clients.

Also try searching on your local craigslist.
