Ron,

Sorry to hear of your recent adventure. If you ha being following recent posts here there has been much discussion about rental scams. It is common when there is a hot market like this and the rental vacancy rate is so low. whether is is here or Craigslist or other rental sites or ads, the phrase 'buyer beware' should be taken seriously. The renter must do their due diligence before moving forward with a lease agreement and before any money changes hands. These rental sites like Trulia are not set up to police all of the hundreds of ads and wouldn't know unless someone reports them to the site and to the local police department. There are disclaimers on all of these sites to warn the renters to be viligant.

This phone number is a fraudulent advertisement and should be removed. Do a search on google to find out more. Why do you let this type of post to be on your web site. Very dissappointed.

Call them and see. Could be someone handling the property management for the owner. Nothing comes up in the MLS as for sale at that address, so that's a good indication...
