The market here in Rosenberg is brisk and properties sell and lease fairly quickly. Some landlords and property managers have had bad experiences with folks at the Sec 8 office or payment has been delayed. We do some property management and sometimes do accept section, but have none at this time.
Sugar Land is an area with relatively high property values and high demand. Only the northern side of Sugar Land has values generally found in Section 8. Our business is part property management (~100 homes) and we see few of these types of properties in Sugar Land. Not saying you won't find anything, just that your selection will be higher in other areas.
