Hi, I can help you. I would contact all of the condos that you like and ask if they accept VA.

Condo buildings aren't VA approved as is the case with FHA. It is the individual unit that must be approved and VA guidelines are much more flexible than FHA. Feel free to call me to discuss. Have a great weekend!

I've emailed you a website where you can check for the approval status of any condo in the country.

I am posting the link here for future buyers who see this question. However, I have emailed you as your requested an understand the issue - that nothing is on this list for DC.

VA approved condos:

Also, many condos that are FHA approved CAN be VA approved but it's important for the lender and REALTOR to discuss it before writing an offer.

VA condos generally follow FHA approved condo lists. Lenders can and should search the FHA list first. VA can tell us if the condo is approved with a phone call if your loan officer is on top of things for you. I enjoy working with veterans and please let me know if youy have any further questions. Military references are available upon request. Hope this helps. Thanks
