Help! RE: CA housing Where are the low-cost-living towns/cities for retired seniors with FIXED INCOME n wish to keep active 'n out of NURSING

Asked by emm4cwe, Salinas, CA Wed Feb 8, 2012

homes?
We'd love to move to a California town, where we can find real community living or find a senior center.
We are a healthy couple, who enjoy gardening with our grandchildren, loving nature in its simple version.
We can only afford rent for a 3/4 BR apartment . The only feature we WISH is to have access to a
backyard or garden. But if not, we will search for a community garden around.

Pls. reply with leads, links to renters, names and tels. of a kind owner who would open their doors to our family. We possess references from our local senior center, and public servers.

Kindly call us at: 646-436-3160 (Mariana/JOse), 201-492-2508/7 (Kimberly, our daughter)

Grateful for ever!

Casta del Sol in Mission Viejo is one of the most reasonable Senior Community in S. California with a spectacular and inspiring community garden with large areas available for residents. Lake Mission Viejo privileges and numerous other ammenities make this one of the Best Kept Secrets in Orange County. Contact me for specific properties that are currently available.

There actually are quite a number of less expensive properties in Orange County. There are several senior communities, and they offer different environments. There are two that come immediately to mind, Laguna Woods is a very large community south of Irvine and west of Lake Forest. You can find units for rent under $1000 a month most of the time. The other is Casta Del Sol, which has fewer lower cost offerings, but offers more green space and has a large community garden.

If you are interested in either of these, give me a call at 949 632-4883 and we can see what meets your needs. As you probably know, as a Realtor® my fees are paid by the Landlord, so our service to you is without fee. Not a bad deal. With so many properties in distress it is good to work with an experienced Realtor® to help avoid troubled properties.

I look forward to hearing from you.
