Chantell O'D…, Renter in Colorado Springs, CO

Any Downtown Denver rental properties available Feb/Mar 2013?? Prefer a SFH, Townhome, Duplex, but Apt ok. 2 requirements: accepts dogs and has w/d.

Asked by Chantell O'Donnell, Colorado Springs, CO Sun Dec 2, 2012

Prefer a SFH, Townhome, Duplex, but will consider an Apartment. Two main conditions: accepts dogs and has w/d. If garage included - fabulous! Backyard - awesome! Thanks

Thanks Ethan and Robert. Unfortunately, I do not have the financial means to buy a home at this time. Just graduated from college and starting out on my first job in my career.

I know any property is going to be tight AND more expensive in Denver...and downtown Denver, compared to Colorado Springs. I did find some properties that were b/w $800-1100/mo....some with my requirements met....a lot more that don't allow pets and/or only have laundry facilities.

Thank you both for your help :)

Chantell,

The rental market is really tight in Denver as you probably know. Especially in the areas closest to Downtown. Not only hard to find but the prices are going up at a rapid pace. I agree with Ethan about considering a purchase rather than a rental (and about your photo). Some of the advantages are outlined in my recent post - http://j.mp/RWrZi3 . But we do have some agents in our office at Your Castle Real Estate who do property management. Call Charles Roberts - 303-962-4272 about what rentals may be available in the area. Best of success no matter what route you decide to take.

Hi Chantell,

Thanks for the questions and I love your picture! It is much cheaper to buy a home right now than it is to rent. Have you considered buying a place. I can show you the ways to make home buying pretty painless. Call me at 303-856-8980 so I can tell you about your options.

Thanks,
