Rates right now are between 5% and 5.5%. It really depends on what type of loan and the terms. You can even buy down the rate by paying points. I suggest speaking to a loan professional and find out what loan package works for you and your family. 30 Year Fixed - 5.00%
FHA 30-Year Fixed -- 5.5%

Conforming fixed-rate mortgage rates dropped to levels last seen in 2003. Weak Retail Sales data and low inflation figures released during last the past week also supported the move lower.

You can log on to realtor.com or wellsfargo.com and they both will give you the daily interest rate on any day of the week. that makes it easy for you to follow, since it does change on a daily basis, and it also depends on the size of the loan AND the bank you are inquiring with. Today it is around 5.5%.

Rates in the Oklahoma City Metro are down to around 5.5% for someone with an exellant rating. This is a very good time for those who can purchase to do so.
