Karen, your daughter MIGHT qualify for a VA loan with $0 downpayment. But this doesn't mean you wouldn't need any money. You do have closing costs to deal with.

I suggest you meet face-to-face with a Loan Officer and see what your options are. By allowing us to review your income documents, credit and bank statements, we can then advice you of your options. Trust me, this is the best way to get the answers you're looking for.

I'm always available to meet at one of our Brooklyn or Queens offices if you need a reliable and honest Loan Officer. Good luck!

Hi Karen
The amount of money you have to put down depends on the price of the home and your lender.

Typical Examples:
FHA: Min. 3.5% down
Conv: Min 5% down
VA if you have military service: 0 down
