For an accurate answer, why not direct that question to your loan officer.

Your credit will be dinged a little because the bank or financial institution has run a credit check. Is this for a mortgage pre-approval?
it'll show that there was a credit search, but it shouldn't adversely affect your credit, just go to a credit repair agency and get everything straightened out.
