Hello Jack! Thanks for posting your question. I know that you have already had a couple of other Realtors respond to your question, but I HIGHLY recommend that you call Greg Griffin with MetLife Home Loans. MetLife is the company that I send 100% of my customers to, whether they are making a new purchase, or whether they are refinancing. Give Greg a call and let him know that I sent you to him. MetLife has wonderful refinance programs, and their closing costs are a FRACTION of those of other lenders.

You can call Greg directly at 618-288-8620 or you can email him at ggriffin@metlifehomeloans.com. You can also contact me directly at 618-741-8552 or Brad@MoveWithBrad.com. I would be happy to help you in any way that I can.

You could try to get a loan modification. If that also doesn't work for you, then you could try to get a bridge loan, and use that to refinance your loan. You could also offer to sell your property with a lease-back provision, and with a buy-back option.

Hi Jack,

I'm no financing whiz, but I know someone who is.

Try calling Chris Brown, he's a local mortgage broker at Mortgage Makers in Edwardsville. If he can't help you personally, he can certainly explain your options and help your situation. His number is Cell: 618-978-1370 and his e-mail is cbrown@mortgagem.com

I hope this helps.

Take care,
Kristina
