Jennyfer,
This is a hard one to answer without actually seeing your credit report but the simple answer is: yes. It is possible to get a home loan with bad credit. It really all depends on the detials.
Jennyfer,
Define bad. What is the actual score? Do you have any foreclosures or bankruptcies?
Your best bet is to contact a loan officer, like me or doug. Getting a pre-approval letter only takes 24 hrs and doesnt cost you a dime, just a couple minutes of your time. If you are not credit worth, any good loan officer will be able to tell you what you need to work on to get approved. Go ahead and give some one a call.

Hi Jennyfer,
First of all the label of "bad" credit is very subjective. It may not be as bad as you think in terms of qualifying for financing. There is still a fair amount of flexibility when it comes to your credit history. The best place to start is with a credit review. I do these all the time with no cost or obligation to help people 1) determine where they stand, and 2) if needed develop a strategy to shape up your credit. There are many things that can be done, some in a short period of time to pump up your rating. Visit my blog and click on the "Credit" category for some great articles about credit scores and more.
