If you are eligible, it's a great time to get a VA loan. I am a Massachusetts licensed mortgage loan originator. We do our underwriting in Brookline, so if you are looking for fast response locally, I recommend you work with a local lender such as ourselves.
Hope this helps.

You might want to start here:
http://www.homeloans.va.gov/eligibility.htm

It might read like hieroglyphics, but if you make your way through the site you can determine your eligibility

After that, you need to find a lender who will approve you based on your credit, income, etc.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
