"No Doc" Hard Money Lender Las Vegas

Asked by Lasthouseontheleft, Las Vegas, NV Sun Apr 8, 2012

Looking for a "no doc" hard money lender in Las Vegas.

I own my home outright, purchased for 130k six months ago. Interested in borrowing 60k for a 6-10 year term.

Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately in the State of Nevada it is against the law as of October 2010 for anyone to lend money to a homeowner using their home as security without verification of the ability to repay the loan (verifying income). Hard money lenders beware you must verify income. We just handled a case where we filed a complaint with the Attorney General's office and they pursued the case where the hard money lender gave a loan without verifying the borrower's ability to repay it. The punishment is a misdemeanor and fine up to three times the amount of any losses incurred to the homeowner. Basically you could never foreclose if the borrower did not pay.
