Lots of good folks in the area...are you looking for a mortgage broker or a mortgage banker? I have contacts in both categories if you or someone you know is looking to obtain a mortgage quote...remember, the laws on GFE's has recently changed and some lenders don't even know it!
Here are a few good quality questions to ask yourself:
How much industry experience do they have.
Are they a broker or banker or both
Do they have upfront fees
I have used Nationwide Mortgage several times over the years and find that my customers are always happy. They have great communication and knowlege to get the job done and they don't charge junk fees. I use the location in Humble and send my customers to Norman VanHoltz his direct number is 832-607-5708 he may be able to assist you if you give him a phone call.
You can look at http://getprequalified.com for a lot of general information. What area are you speaking of?
Third Coast Mortgage Group is a great company. They have several offices thoughout Texas. Marc Dupre is the loan officer in Katy, Texas and has lived in Katy 8 years. Whether you close a loan with him or need advise he is a good contact to have.
Prudential Gary Greene, Realtors recognizes today's buyer has a need for ease in a transaction and we have aligned ourselves with a lender who is available in each of our 28 offices. I have also dealt with and recommend Catherine Reilly with DMR Mortgage and Neil Hurt with Bank of America. The best advertised rate is not necessarily the best for you as a buyer, so please consult with your Realtor or give me a call to speak to these terrific people.
Cornerstone Mortgage, Preferred Mortgage/Greg Burkett
We have many great lenders. We would rather our clients use mortgage lenders as apposed to morgage brokers...who needs a middle man that wants to make additional money...go to the source...the lender!
