Which motgage companies have the easiest FHA approval process?

Asked by Hollywould-2, Memphis, TN Mon Apr 4, 2011

We have some past credit issues; chapter 7 bk discharged 1/2008, a few late payments on a student loan after the bk, perfect credit for about 20 months now, current credit score about 650. Thanks so much for your advice...

I too agree with all the answers given....the key is to find a loan officer that puts your best interest first. One that you have ease in talking to and trust. I too would recommend Carey Fifer or Al Pickett with Community and Ruth Jones with Regions Mortgage 901-759-5276.

All FHA loans restrictions are the same. In my experience the easiest place may be doing illegal things. I recommend using the lender with the most FHA loans closed in the county.... Community Mortgage. Contact either Carey Fifer or Al Pickett. The guys are amazing. Not to say it will happen to you, but ever loan I have closed with these guys, the buyers' have gotten money back at closing.

While I agree with that answer, I have also found some underwriters are a little more willing to work with you than others. Call Sharon Church at Community Mortgage at 759-4328. Shes one of the best in the business.

The FHA approval process will be the same for any lender. FHA is a federal insured loan and the lender requirements for the buyer and the property are the same.
