Grants are difficult to come by for home purchase. However, depending upon your financial status there may be "programs" available to you. The SHIP program has been around for years and there are opportunities available through USDA Rural Development. And as you may already know, if you are a first time home buyer you may qualify for the $8,000.00 new home buyer grant from the government.
