According to a credit gathering agency my husbands credit scores are 645, 586, and 583. However one of the reporting agencies tells us that his score is 642. Unfortuantely, there are also some collections showing. If these collections are paid up or closed what impact do they have on being able to obtain a loan to purchase a home? The collection accounts except for one are all medical related. The other account was for something else and was paid about a year ago or longer. We are desperately in need of a different home as this one is a 1980 14X70 and has several different issues. Right now we are using up our debt ratio but can pay off what is owed when needed, we have been continuing to make payments to help build up his credit history. One last thing the one collection account that has been paid has not been reported as paid but we have requested documentation to show that it has been paid. We would like to be able to get into a home soon enough to qualify for tax credit. Own 40 acr
