Fay call your lender. Their number is on your payment slip. Lenders are standing to get money from us if they do loan mods for people that have hardship.
By the wayit could be good luck if you have your loan with BOA they are behind and stand to lose out on a 6,000,000,000.00 incentive.

best way to start is call your lender ask for help they will send you all information step by step how to do your own loan modification, another way go online search for good loan mod companies, please do not pay in front, for this services maybe they have agreement to pay later when they done with ur mod....i heard a lot bad news with people collect $3,000 and up for nothing....if you call you lender you not pay nothig they help you to do everything, another way is call NACA or go http://www.naca.org.
good luck.

Hi Fay,

You may want to check with Consumer Credit Counseling of Nevada, or any of the other free non-profit foreclosure avoidance counselors from HUD's Nevada list.

Hope that helps.

A good place to start is the internet, if you have access. Your lenders home page will have a lot of information, and probably a home modification package that you can download. You will need to gather a lot of information to meet the requests, but it might be worth it, if you can get the loan modification. If you can't get one, a short sale is another option, and I am a short sale specialist in Las Vegas. Good luck! Diane

Have you talked to your lender yet? That's a good place to start. Also, are you current on the loan or behind in payments? That can have an impact on your ability to negotiate a successful loan modification.
