Hi Jim,
Monthly figures for 2009 are more revealing than an average of the 4 months.
Average # Sales
July: $346,838 4
June: 445,000 1
May: 525,000 1
April: 268,375 3
The figures for August are not out until September 10.
BTW, you can access this information yourself: http://www.mris.com, select News on the left, then Market Statistics, and select to review by Zip.
