dear Bridgewater homebuyer,
your best bet is to shop around alittle. I can share with you that my most recent 2 buyers in Somerset County each thought they had found the best deal until they spoke with my Financial Service Manager here at Weichert in Warren. After speaking with him, they both obtained their mortgages through Weichert who lend directly and offered them each the best overall package.
Please contact me directly so that I can put you in touch with our finance chap.
Sincerely,
Nick Welsh

Hello, the answer isn't what is a reasonable mortgage broker fee but rather what is the cost, rate, and program. You also, want to be sure you are receiving the proper service for a purchase money transaction.

As a direct lender, we have no broker fee and I would be happy to offer you a second opinion. I am based in Hillsborough, NJ.

FIRST ANSWER

Every mortgage company has different programs, with varied costs involved. Your best bet is to check with a couple of companies and compare programs, rates, fees, etc.
If you are working with a Realtor, he/she can help you determine the best options for you, and may be able to recommend someone companies they have worked with in the past.
Good luck in your house hunt!
