We added new posts to our exterior but they are treated & require 6 months to dry out before painting. Will this prevent us from getting a?

refinance? We want to refinance and had our home appraised. We were told to replace rotten wood so we had new siding added to the entire house and had new exterior posts made. The entire exterior has been sided and painted with the exception of the new posts. Our contractor informed us since we were using treated wood for them that they needed to dry out for about 6 months before they could be painted. The inspector came back to see our changes and expressed concerned about the unpainted posts.

I'd do what your contractor said to do.
