Sreamlining a FHA loan

Asked by Jane Doe, 07088 Sat Apr 4, 2009

How does one streamline a FHA loan? What is the max time limit one has from the time one obtains a 203K loan until they can streamline the loan? What are the costs? What paper work is needed?

You can do it at any time ... just contact any FHA lender. I do them frequently. Very simple. No waiting. No appraisal. No costs. (The lender picks up the costs, which are minimal) No appraisal. No W-2 forms etc. takes about a week.

Is this accurate int oday's market? A 203K will fund for puchasing and repairs withing a week? We have an executed agreement with HUD for a 203K purchase in Healdsburg, CA. Thank you

If by streamlining you mean doing a streamline refinance, there is no maximum time. You can do it once the work is completed and the final inspection has been done and all monies released. As long as you are paying your loan on time and lowering your rate or payment everything you be fine.
