Possible move to Myrtle Beach, SC

I am considering Myrtle Beach as a place to purchase a home. I would be a first time home buyer and would like something affordable. I need to get a single family house with an enclosed yard for I have a dog (I am a responsible pet owner, but she is a larger breed dog). I need a place that does not have pet restrictions and I am considering a VA loan. Does anyone have advise on how to get that type of loan and any areas (safe) that would be best for me? Thank you.

Dear Marilyn,

There are a number of great communities in sunny Myrtle Beach! I would urge you to discuss your mortgage needs with my mortgage partner @ Coastal First Mortgage ~ Mr. Sam Clark ~ 843-450-9917. He is an absolute genius and will help you plan your mortgage strategy.

In the meantime, please feel free to visit my website at http://MSmith.ExitGrandStrand.Com where you will find information about every nook and cranny of the Greater Myrtle Beach Area. You will also have total access to the entire Multiple Listing Service where you can search properties and receive automatic notifications when properties are entered into the system that meets your buying criteria.

I hope to hear from you and wish you luck on your relocation.

Sincerely,
Marylyn Smith

Hi Marilyn!
I own a home in Myrtle Beach and am very familiar with the area. Conway has many areas that are connected by Hwy 31 and the Robert Grissom Parkway affording easy access to the beach. You may qualify for a first time home buyer State Housing program. Email me at rcameron@horizonfinancial.org and I can give you some information to get preapproved.

Good luck!

Hi Marilyn!

One thing I would definitely do is check on getting a pre-approval first before finding a property you fall in love with. You may be able to afford more than you realize, or you may not. But it is better to get that out of the way first. It will take the worry of what you will pay out of the way first. I always suggest this as the first step to first time home buyers. If you need help, I can give you a contact that can help you do that in less than 15 minutes on the phone. If you need any other help with purchasing. Do not hesitate to contact me.

myrtle beach is nice
i went there last year
be patient
house prices dropping
they were way over priced
if you are going to live in the house for 30 years
then maybe ok to buy
if not
wait
getting cheaper
wait for interest rates to drop
maybe 2009-2010 is when most sellers will be desperate

anyways

good luck

Hi Marilyn,

Myrtle Beach is great choice to consider living. Their are many places you can choose from that would be happy to have your dogs. My first question would be, what price range are you considering? Second, are you familiar with the Myrtle Beach area? Third, what is important to you in a home? I would be happy to send you some listings that match your search criteria if you wish. If you would like to do your own search you can search our local MLS athttp:// www.MyrtleBeachHomePro.com. The VA loan shouldn't be a problem and we can discuss that as you get close to purchasing.
I am a former NY state realtor and my partner Tara is from Maryland. If we can help you please don't hesitate to email us at Team@MyrtleBeachHomePro.com or give us a call. All of our contact information is on our website and from there you can also request a FREE Myrtle Beach newcomers guide.

We hope to hear from you and add you to our list of happy clients.
