Morgage loan without US-credit history ?

Asked by Ursula, Indianapolis, IN Tue Jul 31, 2012

I recently relocated to the Indianapolis area from Germany. I would like to buy a house in the north-east Indianapolis / Fishers area. I have no US-credit history at all, but a good job that will easily pay for a loan. Downpayment can be more than 20%. My German credit history would probably be considered perfect (own house fully paid for, rented apartment ..)

Can anyone recommend a bank that will consider working with me ?

Hello Ursula,

I think the best answer is always to go with one experienced in that which you seek.

Don Morical and Vickie Topmiller (familial plug lol) at Castle Mtg are such because
of the number of foreign nationals moving into Florida with whom Don has worked.
And because Castle Mtg is a Broker, they have wide resources.

Americans take for granted that all countries use the same type of credit recording
system as we do. This is not a correct assumption.

If you, or friends of yours are in this position. Phone Castle Mortgage and other
Mtg Brokers. They will be your best resource for "out of the box" thinking and
loans.

Ursula, I hope all is going well. Let me know if you need more

If you have good job security, some bank statements and good credit you should be able to get financed. Contact Tony Hart at Tucker Mortgage 317-849-5050.
And for finding the right home I can make it easy and enjoyable.
