Looking for a lender in California who will use my husbands itin number on a loan. He is 2nd on the loan and I have a ssn. We have an accepted offer?

We're in Escrow but my lender couldn't close with my hubbys itin. Please help I dont want to lose this house.....

You stated we so I assume that the accepted offer has both you and your husband on the accepted offer. I would have been great if you would have had a pre-approval for direct lender before submitting the offer. I am surprised that the owner did not require complete purchase agreement, pre-approval and source of funds before accepting offer. I assume accepted offer has loan contingency date. There is a date when buyers should have formal loan approval. ASAP you need to contact a direct lender and hopefully get a loan approval and precede with your purchase.

Unfortunately being in escrow already may not be enough time and you may be able to recover your emd if you have financing contingencies.
I know of a program that will allow you to get both of you approved on the same loan. As you found out being the first named on credit means nothing, you are both equally responsible and now he is your first road block.
Let me know if you want to know who has the program, but I know it is not a quick fix especially depending on the circumstances which I will not get into here. I am not a lender I just work with this type of situation regularly.
