Is there a way to remove non-occupying borrower on FHA streamline refinance without appraisal? Can somebody help or refer a lender? Thanks!

The underwriter may also require an appraisal even if the regs do not.

Are you upside down on your home? Could you credit qualify on your own?

Yes, we can do that, but rob is correct you would have to qualify even though on a regular streamline you would not.

There is not.

From the HUD Handbook:

ï‚· Deleting a borrower requires full credit qualifying for the remaining borrowers :
o Income will be verified like a purchase transaction and DTI calculated
o Assets will be verified like a purchase transaction
o An appraisal is optional depending on how the closing costs will be paid
